39 year old male diagnosed with colon cancer in Jan. 2009. Laproscopic sigmoid colectomy performed 1/30/09. Pathology showed 5 of 18 lymph nodes effected making me Stage IIIc. Started Folfox plus Avastin Chemo 2/24/09. Early PET Scan showed liver mets making me officially Stage IV. In July, 2009 I underwent a liver resection where the right lobe was removed leaving me with about 40% of my liver. Unfortunately, the post surgery scan showed new liver mets had grown faster then we could cut them out. Post surgery I am finishing the remaining 6 rounds of FOLFOX. The adventure continues.
